Homemade Organic Green Kale Chips

Baked Kale Chips

Salty or Sweet?  Which do you prefer?

I’m a salty kind of snacker.  Always have been.

Now don’t get me wrong, I do have an occasional sweet tooth but it’s just not my thing.  That’s why I’m so glad that I came across a recipe that allows me to enjoy a salty snack that’s better for me.

I’m sharing it with you so that id you want to make a salty treat, you can.

Here’s one of the most delicious snack recipes I make.

Baked Kale Chips

Makes 6

1 bunch Kale

1 Tbsp olive oil

seasoned salt to taste

Cooking Instruction

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).  Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner.  Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.

What’s great is you can actually mix this up with a variety of veggies.  Some of the ones that I use more frequently are: broccoli, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower.
