As we approach mid-January, I often see many folks who had resolutions or goals of achieving better health fall off the wagon and return back to their old habits.
It happens but it doesn’t have too.
I’ll admit that I too, have fallen off the wagon before. I know first hand how difficult it can be to eat right, exercise and stay on track. I know what it’s like to try to do it alone and I know what it’s like to have a bad day and want to give up. I know what it’s like to not believe in myself and think I would never reach my goal. But, I overcame all this and you can too!!
Along with many, many other folks, I have learned that SUPPORT and creating consistent healthy habits (proper nutrition and exercise you enjoy) that fit our individual lives is the key to success.
The good news is that even small changes to what we eat, the activity that we do and the support we get, can help us reach our weight loss goal. And if you’ve suffered a set back, it’s okay. Pick yourself back up, give yourself grace and keep moving forward. You’re not starting over. You’re simply not giving up!
So my point today….Don’t give up on you! You are deserving of good health.
