Find Your Hidden Time Wasters
By Laura Kelly-Pifer
Often, I hear from others that they are tired and overwhelmed. They’ll say “Laura, I don’t have time to work out. “ or “Laura, I am so tired. I feel like I’m being pulled in so many directions.” Of course, there is so much more that goes on. And, I can totally relate. I’ve been there myself.
As a Coach, we work together to get to the bottom of where this stress can come from as well as how to eliminate it.
Today, I thought I might share one of the exercises that I have found to be extremely helpful. This simple task has helped not only me, but so many others.
Let’s get started.
The goal with this exercise is simply to learn more about your daily habits.
Over the next week, you will record how you spend your time each day.
At the end of the week, you will calculate your totals for each area and then note where your hidden time wasters are. Time wasters can be things that cause us stress, aren’t productive, keep us away from things that bring us joy and more.
What do you notice when you look at the worksheet?
Are there things that you can delegate or do away with?
This is an exercise that you can do from time to time too. Personally, I like to do it twice per year; at the beginning of summer when my children are on break and then when they are back to school.

I would love to hear about your experience with this exercise and how it has helped you. Comment back and let me know.
With Love,
Laura
