Koss FitBuds and FitClips Review

I can remember last fall when I began the Couch to 5k running program. I needed music to keep me going or else I wasn’t nearly as motivated. It would be the PUSH I had to have to keep going. I would put my headphones in and after a few minutes, one would pop out. Then I would have to stop, put it back in and start back up. That was so frustrating.
I got home from running one night and actually sent a tweet out on Twitter, asking runners for their recommendations on ear buds. Time and time again, I would get a reply back and Koss came up. When I researched them, they had good reviews but the weather was changing and I knew that I wouldn’t be running/walking outdoors until the temperatures warmed back up.
So, when I was asked to actually review these Fitbuds and give my opinion, I jumped at the opportunity. I want to share those with you but let me first tell you a little bit about them.
Koss’ female designers teamed up with Gold Medalist Dara Torres to create the world’s first headphones designed specifically for women, by women. There are 2 products that I am reviewing.
The first product I was sent is FitBuds valued at $29.99. They are 33% smaller than any earbud Koss has ever created; they are sweat resistant and have three different sizes of ear cushions included for the perfect fit.
The second product I was sent is FitClips valued at $29.99. They do not fall out; they are sweat resistant and also have three different sizes of ear cushions included for the perfect fit.
Both can be found at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Walgreens, Kmart and Sears.
I have to tell you that I LOVE these! These headphones are lightweight and comfortable and they didn’t pop out. I can listen to my music or audio books no matter if I an exercising or not. And, they are pretty too. The ones I received were teal and orange. They are the must have fitness gear for the new year.
I do have one issue though…my girls want them and on several occasion, they’ve gone missing. That’s actually a good thing though and tells me that they like them too. In the past, we have just bought “cheap” headphones but after testing these, I wish we would have spent a little more and bought a way better pair! They are the perfect gift for women. (And all ages too.)
