It’s been a few weeks since I’ve blogged about my own personal journey and I thought I better take a few minutes and share with you what’s been going on.

Over the last few weeks, we have been swamped with school, after school activities, a few trips and just every day life.  All of this combined with an a new medication for my Rheumatoid Arthritis equates to a 10 pound weight gain.  Yes, you did read that correctly!  I’ve allowed myself to slip in my meal planning and also have made some really unhealthy food choices.  Even though we didn’t eat out a lot, we did more than normal and my meals weren’t always the best.  So, when I saw that number on the scale and my pants didn’t want to button, I knew I had to get back on track.  That’s why I decided to do the Clean Eating Challenge again.  I needed the accountability and I needed to stop those unhealthy habits that I was starting to develop all over again. 

Today marks the first day of the challenge.  When I last checked, there were approximately 40 people who were joining me.  I am so excited to have others participate along side me.  It is so cool that we are all in this together.  If you haven’t joined yet and want to or need additional information, please check out the details here on this blog or on my Facebook page “Coach Laura’s Health & Wellness” group.
