How To Make Crystals
By Laura Kelly-Pifer
I absolutely adore homemade things. So, when my girls, Bailey and Morgan, arrived from school the other day, each with a homemade gift for me, I was pretty excited. Morgan had designed, carved out and sanded down a wooden rack that I’ll be able to keep my necklaces on. And Bailey, had made me a crystal heart as shown in the above picture.
Not knowing how her crystal heart was made, I had Bailey explain the process and I am sharing it with you. This is an EXCELLENT project to do with the kids or just because.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Borax, Jar, Tape, Pencil, String, colored Pipe cleaners
6. Let it sit overnight and when you awake, you’ll have crystals.
If you choose to do this project, I would LOVE to see it. Comment back with a picture of your design or crystal. And, most of all…HAVE FUN!!!
With Love,
Laura
