Saucony Virrata Review
By Laura Kelly-Pifer
Disclosure: I received a pair of Saucony Virrata Shoes free to review on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will add value to my readers.
Earlier this spring, I had the opportunity to review a pair of Saucony Virrata shoes. When I first learned of this, I was thrilled. I’ll admit that out of all the shoes I’ve tried, Saucony’s are my favorite. However, it wouldn’t be me reviewing these shoes but actually, my daughter, Bailey. In order to really review the shoes, they needed to be worn by someone who was into running. And, it was perfect timing because she was starting track and would be running on a variety of surfaces and distances.
Over the course of her track season, we estimated that Bailey ran approximately 1,800 miles but nothing over 3 miles per day. She ran on the track field, pavement, and on trials in the woods.
When I spoke with Bailey, she indicated that these shoes were light weight and comfortable. She also mentioned that she preferred wearing them when running on the pavement and the track field verses the trail in the woods. Needless to say, they did get a lot of use over the track season and she still wears them for when she works out. Overall, Bailey was pleased with the shoe’s performance.
Here’s a photo of Bailey in action.
