The Key To Increasing Your Energy

Have you ever been with friends, family or co-workers and noticed how drained you felt after a conversation with them? Personally, I can’t even begin to count the times that I’ve felt this way.
After I began working with a Coach/Mentor, I decided that setting boundaries was something that I had to do in order to live the happy and productive life that I had envisioned for myself. It’s the key to increasing your energy.
I took charge of my life and determined that I could no longer waste my time on gossip, ridicule, envy, self-pity, anger, guilt, arrogance, need, impatience, regret, manipulation, jealousy, fear, worry, and anxiety, because they zapped my ENERGY and caused me stress!
Instead, I could choose to live a life that consisted of understanding, truth, clarity, patience, devotion, gratitude, vulnerability, acceptance, wisdom, hope, forgiveness, empathy, discipline, perseverance, community, and peace. Doesn’t that sound wonderful!?! All of those things that sucked the life out of me have become obsolete because I chose to make a change.
And, once I began living my life in this way, my energy levels increased. It wasn’t just a mental change but a physical change as well. The aches and pains that I had felt in my body were beginning to disappear and I began my road to recovery as well as lost twenty pounds in the process.
The life that you dream of is possible and you are worthy of it. All it takes is the desire to make a change (or changes) and then taking the steps needed to make it happen.
You are worth the effort that you invest into yourself. I believe in you and your dreams.
