Scientific studies are showing that coconut oil has many benefits.

You’ve probably seen or even have heard good things about it and maybe you’ve even gone out and purchased a tub of it. But, now what!? How can you add this to your diet and everyday life?

What’s great about coconut oil is that it’s not just something that you can cook with but has many other uses too. You’ll want to print out this list so that you’ll have it on hand.

Coconut oil is a great moisturizer. It’s perfect for dry, cracked skin and lips. Use on the heels of your feet and even elbows. Here’s a wonderful and easy recipe that you can make for a DIY Sugar Scrub.

DIY Sugar Scrub Recipe

Mix ingredients together one at a time in a large bowl. If needed, add more dry or liquid ingredients to get the consistency you desire. Fill a pint-sized jar with the sugar scrub and seal with lid.

Another reason to use coconut oil is that it can fade Age Spots. Simply rub on hands or other areas daily.

Or, use as a Hair Flyaway Tamer. Use very sparingly on ends or areas with flyaways.

Another easy way to use coconut oil is to make your own Homemade Toothpaste – Combine equal parts coconut oil and baking soda. Sweeten with stevia and flavor with your favorite essential oil.

A few ways that you can add to your diet are:

In place of butter, spread on toast.

Fry an egg in coconut oil verses using butter or olive oil.

Add a little coconut oil to your steamed kale or other favorite vegetables for extra flavor and for a healthy fat.

As you can see, this is just a very small sampling of how you can incorporate coconut oil into your day.
